Westwood, NJ – Breast cancer advocacy group Spoil Me Pink is partnering with two local sponsors–Muah Makeup & Lash Bar in Westwood and The Spine and Health Center of Montvale–to host a very special event on October 23, 2015 in celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Spoil Me Pink’s 2nd Anniversary. This one-of-a-kind experience includes a full beauty makeover, personalized style session, and relaxing professional massage, all offered free of charge to recent breast cancer patients and survivors.
Muah Makeup & Lash Bar’s renowned makeup artist Ashlee Kleinschmidt and her team of top-notch beauty professionals are booking appointments starting at 4pm, which will also include a soothing massage from The Spine & Health Center of Montvale, a group that offers multi-disciplinary chiropractic care, physical therapy and pain management in Bergen, Hudson & Rockland Counties. Participants can be nominated by friends and family or simply apply for an appointment themselves: email email@example.com for details, or use the contact form on their website (www.spoilmepink.org). Due to demand and space constraints, nominations must be made in advance to book an appointment.
Spoil Me Pink was founded in October 2013 by three women–one of them a two-time breast cancer survivor–who understood the unique challenges that women face while they battle breast cancer. The emotional, mental and physical changes that breast cancer patients struggle with can be devastating, and Spoil Me Pink is determined to guide women through the process of accepting and loving their new bodies.
Spoil Me Pink is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, and boasts a dedicated core team of experts, including a survivor counselor, a professional stylist personally trained by Stacey London of What Not to Wear, and an accessories guru known for her uncanny ability to spot hot fashion trends before they hit the mainstream. They partner with other licensed estheticians, skilled hair stylists, and makeup artists in various locales, to host and donate their services at Spoil Me Pink’s traveling VIP Lounge. The non-profit organization has expanded their efforts over the past two years, hosting events in New Jersey, New York and Florida. Since its inception, Spoil Me Pink has helped scores of brave women look and feel better about themselves while battling breast cancer. All of these services are provided completely free of charge, and participants are sent home with not only wonderful memories but also a valuable “swag bag” filled with fashion and beauty items provided by generous donors.
