Meet Dr. James Digregorio

About Me

Dr. James DiGregorio is the Director of Physical Therapy at The Spine & Health Center of Montvale. A lifelong athlete and former New Jersey state wrestler, Dr. DiGregorio developed his passion for physical therapy after personally experiencing the benefits of rehabilitation for sports-related injuries. He earned both his bachelor’s and doctoral degrees from Sacred Heart University, graduating with honors in Exercise Science and Physical Therapy. In addition to his work in the clinic, Dr. DiGregorio serves as the head wrestling coach for Pascack Hills’ K–8 program, where he teaches young athletes the importance of movement, discipline, and injury prevention. Dedicated to helping others build strength and confidence, he brings compassion, expertise, and motivation to every patient he treats.

WHAT CONDITIONS DO I TREAT?

James treats a wide range of orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, shoulder and knee pain, and chronic musculoskeletal issues. He also provides specialized care for balance and mobility challenges, tailoring each program to help patients regain independence and perform at their best.

James’ clinical interests include sports medicine, strength and conditioning, and injury prevention for athletes of all levels. He has experience treating both student athletes and older adults, focusing on functional recovery and long-term wellness
