Dr. David Angione, DPT, grew up in Oradell, NJ, and graduated from River Dell Regional High School, where he was a three-sport athlete, participating in football, basketball, and lacrosse.
Dr. Angione was inspired to become a physical therapist after a football-related shoulder injury in high school required surgery and physical therapy. His personal experience with rehabilitation sparked his interest in the field and a desire to help others overcome physical challenges and achieve their goals.
Dr. Angione earned his Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science with a minor in Finance from The College of New Jersey in 2021. He then pursued his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree at Drexel University in Philadelphia, graduating in March 2024.
While completing his education, Dr. Angione gained hands-on experience during three clinical rotations. He worked in outpatient settings at Concentra in Clifton, NJ, and SPEAR Physical Therapy in New York City, where he treated orthopedic conditions and supported patients in sports rehabilitation. He also completed an acute care rotation at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, NJ, where he managed post-surgical and hospitalized patients.
Dr. Angione has a strong interest in working with athletes and individuals recovering from shoulder and lower extremity injuries. He is passionate about helping patients regain strength and mobility through personalized, evidence-based treatment plans. His goal is to empower patients to return to the activities they love and achieve their personal best.
Outside of work, Dr. Angione enjoys staying active and spending time with his friends and family. He is a passionate Green Bay Packers fan and looks forward to annual trips to the beach. Dr. Angione is also passionate about trying new foods and exploring diverse cuisines
