Dr. Michael O’Reilly graduated from Quinnipiac University through an accelerated Doctorate of Physical Therapy program earning his undergraduate degree of a Bachelor’s of Health Sciences in 2013 followed by his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2016. Dr. Mike spent numerous months learning and honing his skill set as a Physical Therapist (Civilian) with The United States Special Forces Tactical Human Optimization, Rapid Rehabilitation and Reconditioning (THOR3) Program at Fort Bragg, NC. Post graduate school, Dr. Mike continued his education under a world-renowned leader in the field of sports medicine, rehabilitation, fitness, and sports performance Dr. Mike Reinold, PT., DPT., SCS., CSCS who certified Dr. Mike O’Reilly in specialized IASTM Cupping techniques which is a unique certification Dr. Mike implements on a daily basis with his diverse Orthopedic patient population.
After earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Quinnipiac University and working for two years as a full-time Physical Therapist at The Spine and Health Center, Dr. Mike followed his passion to serve his community in a different spectrum, as a Professional Firefighter. Dr. Mike is a full-time Professional Firefighter serving the City of Hackensack, NJ., as well as the greater Bergen County since being hired by the Fire Department on 04/08/2019. In 2023, Dr. Mike received The Firefighter of the Year Valor Award from the Bergen County American Legion Department of New Jersey and continues to take great pride in fulling both dreams as a Professional Firefighter and as a Physical Therapist.
Dr. Mike grew up in the Northern Valley area and has recently returned to the Northern Valley as a homeowner who takes great pride in serving his neighbors and overall community at The Spine and Health Center of Closter. When Dr. Mike is out of the office and not on the Fire Truck.
He enjoys spending his time with his fiancé, friends, and family enjoying the outdoors on a hike, on the beach, or around the fire pit in his backyard! Dr. Mike is an avid Mets fan and continues to believe one day he will be able to see The Mets win the World Series!
